Ariana Hodes was born and raised in New Hampshire to musician parents, who dragged her around to gigs in the New England area her entire childhood. Ariana's songwriting began privately in the pages of many journals, and morphed into a public effort when she started gaining more confidence in her sound while living and creating in Los Angeles. She made the move to Nashville in 2014, and has proceeded to play live in and around town, cowrite with other fantastic songwriters, and record her premiere EP of original tunes, Last Night's Makeup. Ariana's soulful sound mixes the growl of Patti Smith with the sensibilities of Emmylou Harris. She calls it: Garage-Americana.
